The salon looks pretty and the staff here were very nice, but the wax wasn't great. Their hot wax obviously isn't very good, as they had to switch to strip wax half way through, which I've never had before. (Always choose lyon wax if you can find it.) The wax was quite slow, it was almost pain free, but then a few days later almost all the hair is growing back, so it was obviously just not pulling the hair out properly! Oh and the alcohol spray at the start was seriously painful!! It's not expensive, but they'd do better to charge a bit more and invest in some better wax, as I will now need to go for another wax in a week or two. I wouldn't go back here, but maybe if you don't have sensitive skin you'll be fine.
I booked in a 1hr Pedicure and I have to say it wasn't the best or most relaxing experience i've had.
The girl was the only person working in the salon so was a bit on edge, about half way through the treatment a customer walked in for her appointment at 11:40 - the rest of my treatment was rushed and finshed 15 minutes earlier as she was waiting and I felt like I didn't get the time I paid for.
She also cut by one of my cuticles and made it bleed which now really stings.
My last point is that I wasn't given any magazines which you normally expect in nice salons like that - I didn't really like staring around the room for 45 minutes.
