I felt really uncomfortable during the whole experience. You get taken to this dodgy room up the back of the venue, it didn't feel particularly clean, then they stayed in there while you got undresses and didn't give you an opportunity to clean up. The wax was really hot, and when I asked for them to cool it down they just blew on the wax while it was on the stick and dripping over me. Just a really unpleasant experience all around.
I had a hair cut and mu stylist was Oli. She was very attentive friendly and professional.she listened carefully what I needed and she did it perfectly the way I wanted. Very happy and will go back soon , thank you Oli😃

I love coming here for my wax, it is fantastically done with a small amount of pain involved. I have very little ingrown hairs and last easily 6 weeks. Also have had a pedicure done here and it was the best pedicure I ever had!

I really loved the salon. Let me tell you why. I got an excellent color and an excellent blow dry. But most of all they have the sweetest people working at the salon. They are so nice. It really is a great place to get your hair colored or blow dry.

Not as good as it was before. This was my second visit to No.1 Hair and Beauty for a 'Luxury Pedicure'. I go for the luxury option over the regular pedicure because although it's £5 more, I think my feet need to extra steps involved. However, on this visit, the beautician seemed to miss out a couple of steps that I had when i had the same treatment before. For example, she did not cover my feet in parafin wax and leave them to absorb in plastic socks like the time before. This pedicure also seemed to be over much quicker than the first time i went, so i think it was pretty rushed. Was really was disappointing though was that my nail polish was completely smudged by the time i got home, because the nail polish was applied in such thick coats with little drying time in between. I could see that the nail polish was being painted on too heavy, and when the lady when to apply a top cost, she smudged the polish on my big toe. I dont know if she thought i didnt notice, but instead of removing the polish from that nail and re-applying, she doused on more polish to try to disguise the smudge. Not ideal and when i got home they were all smudged so I had to remove the polish and do them myself. Not exactly what you want when you pay £30 for a pedicure.
