Blow Dry
The lady who did my Gel Polish Removal removal, who I think was the owner, was really friendly and nice, but unfortunately the treatment was not very good - she didnt file the surface of the polish before soaking in acetone, which meant I was sitting with it was quite difficult to remove the polish, after which she didnt file or buff my nails. The salon was also very cluttered and dirty.

The two ladies in the place were really lovely so I do feel awful leaving a bad review but honesty is the best policy. I believe there was an error with the treatwell booking as I ended up waiting an hour to be seen past my appointment as there’s only one pedicure station and someone was already on it. Eventually I did get seen, the lady doing the pedicure was again very nice, but didn’t cut my nails when I asked for it and I had to re-file them when I got home as they were shaped terribly. She almost drew blood when removing hard skin and took so long painting and getting more paint on my skin than nails that someone else had to take over. All in all, I booked an express pedicure which should’ve lasted 30 minutes and I was in there for 2.5 hours! I would say I’d go back to give them a second chance but it was unfortunately the worst experience I’ve had with a pedicure.
Pedicure
I arrived and was told to take a seat. 15 minutes later the lady said she’d be right with me. Another 10 minutes later I ask how long it will be and she said again, I’ll be right with you. Another 5 minutes and she finally calls me over and said she was sorry about the wait. I said that it would have been fine if she had told me it was going to be 25 minutes until she could see me as I had errands to run and I could have gone and come back.
I felt for her as one of her hairdressers hadn’t turned up but it would have been good to know that whilst I was waiting.
It wasn’t particularly clean, there were wax pots next to me with hair coming out of them, and there were a lot of flies flying around which was annoying.
The cut was fine enough but quite rushed. She cut my fringe but didn’t re-style so it was stuck out and looked pretty bad. Had to come home and re-style it myself. Won’t be coming back.
