My colleague recommended this venue for their shellac. This is the 2nd time I’ve booked a treatment at this venue through Treatwell. It appeared that no one was sure who I was or whether or not I had paid. I was asked maybe 3 times how much I paid, what treatments I booked and if I had paid already. I found unprofessional and uncomfortable. I had a similar experience on my previous visit.
I don’t know if the issue is the Treatwell system itself, as in it’s not consumer friendly or if it’s the venue itself.
Something to bare in mind also, the price of treatments on the app are a few pounds more, than if you book independently and pay cash. e.g. £15 in cash, but £17 on the app for a shellac polish.
The nail tech was very good, (I’ve had her before) and she was very patient. I picked a colour and then didn’t like it. I tried maybe 5 other colours before I made a final decision. I apologised and thanked her, but she wasn’t rude about it which was reassuring.
I like that they have a diagram of different nail shapes so you can pick one.
I’m considering trying another venue to see if there is better customer service. This is only because I don’t find it a very welcoming place.
