First time I was disappointed. Needed to wait a bit and as I am pregnant it was uncomfortable. Extensions were just ok, she was fast without enough attention, it was possible to anyone to see the glue and as soon I arrived home it starts to fall down. Second/third day I had only half and after less than one week I lose almost all. I needed to back and remake with Natty, she was great, it took longer to finish but was beautiful. Anyway even taking care I lose a few now after a week but is really better than the first time so I recommend Natty as I guess she is the best there.
The wax itself was good. The lady who did it was lovely and very through. She did a check over and caught any parts she missed.
The reason why I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because I was charged extra at the salon AFTER I had already paid via Treatwell/PayPal.
I booked a "Hollywood Hot Wax", for £20 which is the only option for Hollywood on their menu. No strip wax option just "Hollywood Hot Wax".
Also a "Full Leg Wax" for £12.
As I went to sit for my next treatment (mani pedi), the lady at the front said "no you have to pay the difference, you didn't book the right treatment. Our Hollywood hot wax is £25 and our full leg is £15."
Unfortunately my battery had died so I could not show my conformation email via treatwell.
The purpose of Treatwell is for first time customers to get a discount and try out a new salaon. I was very disappointed that I was made to pay an extra £8 after I had paid online.
What's more disappointing was that I had planned to get a Mani Pedi, at Nu Wave, and pay directly. However as I was overcharged I didn't have the budget for it.
So just be wary that if you book via treatwell hoping for a discount you'll be charged extra once you get there.
Appointment was running slightly late, however treatment was excellent and I am extremely pleased with the results and the technician did a great and thorough job of my shellac pedicure!
I will not be going back! I was dumped into a chair, mumbled at then dumped in the hair washing chair. Hair wash was nice but it’s not exactly hard to get that right! Hair cut was half hearted, didn’t even check the sides to see if they were equal! Went to pay and was faced with someone’s half sucked sweet on the counter. Lady didn’t even look at me, let alone the abandoned sweet when I asked to pay by card. She also mumbled that they only take cash. I pointed out her card machine behind her to which she sighed and said ok. NOT worth £35! They all need a lesson in customer service! Oh, and a coffee would’ve been nice!
