I had made an appointment but nobody seemed to know about it and I was sort of fitted in with the many other people walking in off the street. The treatment room opened right onto where a girl was getting her nails done so when I was lying on the table, waiting for the lady to come back, there wasn't even a towel to cover myself when she opened the door. There was a bin that was open and full of used wax strips which wasn't nice. For the higher price, I wanted to get a hot wax done but they have two different types so if I hadn't asked, I don't know what I would have been given. The wax itself was ok but I do have a lot of ingrowns, way more than usual. Not sure I'd go again,
Although it was a last minute appointment, when i turned up they had no idea i was coming and said i would have to go away and come back. The waxer herself was lovely, but didn't wear gloves which is slightly unhygenic.
Quick and efficient! I also liked the wax they're using, it was less painful than usual and well worth the money. But I would advise *against* booking any kind of waxing treatment before 9.30 am - I had my appointment at 9 and they told me to come back in half an hour, as they were just opening and of course, the wax needs time to get to the right temperature. Luckily I wasn't in a rush and it was not an issue, but it's worth keeping this in mind for next time.
