I booked myself a Back-Shoulder-Neck-Head massage. This was my first experience at Nuad Thai. My appointment was at 3pm but by the time a masseuse was made available it was 3:15pm. I was led to a room and then the masseuse disappeared for a good 5 minutes without leaving any instructions. She came soon enough to begin the massage. The massage itself was very good. The therapist kept checking with me to ensure the pressure she was applying was enough. She paid particularly attention to the problem areas that I spoke about before the massage began. The head massage was great but could have been for a little longer. After the massage I did notice that there was a washbasin in the room which had stagnating water. Probably something that one doesnt' immediately notice because of the dim lights. While the massage was great, the place could do with some improvements to cleanliness and ambience.
Therapeutic Massage
There was a problem with my booking even though I received an email from Treatwell confirming my booking. I was told my booking wasn't accepted on their system and because they use a telephone booking system as well they had double booked. Because I'd paid up front I insisted they fit me in because It was too late to cancel which they managed to do but had to wait about 30 minutes before being seen. I wasn't impressed with the service for that reason. My massage was fine but the therapist had a loud growling stomach during my treatment which was quite off putting. Other than that the massage was fine.
