So disappointed with my most recent visit here and to be submitting this negative review. Unfortunately on this visit the massage was poorly delivered, the therapist spent a lot of time just rubbing my back with the palm of her hands rather than applying any technique to massage the knots and tension out.
I have been on numerous occasions before for the same back neck & shoulders massage and the therapists and massage have always been very good and it is done in a set way so I know what to expect.
What was most disappointing is that when I tried to raise my concerns and give feedback to the manager/receptionist, it felt like he wasn't listening because I was the last appointment of the day, he just apologised and told me to book a different therapist next time and that my problem was the pressure (it was not, I was happy with the pressure applied). Given that the therapists names are not provided on the treatwell app or at any point during the treatment itself, this would be impossible.
What was also unusual about my visit here was that payment was taken before the treatment started, this is a first for me as on my pervious 8 or 9 visits this is always done at the end.
I attended this Ruislip branch because parking was easier but next time I would return to Uxbridge. The service is better and it is also a quieter location, there is a Church located opposite the Ruislip branch and throughout my appointment (8pm-8.45pm) I could hear the church bells ringing. Suffice to say I did not leave the venue feeling relaxed at all.
