Had a hot oil massage yesterday me and my daughter, an hour.
The place is nice , clean, the room was clean , warm,.
The massage ladies didn't ask us anything about any medical problems , I had to tell my one that I have a weak lower back and not to press so hard. The massage itself was of medium pressure. I did enjoy it, but afterwards my lower lumber region hurt, and I found it h and getting dressed. My Dante was ok. I got home and felt awful, like I've been hit by a bus. There was a poster hanging up which said go take it easy and drinks lots of waterm but I had to ask the guy at the desk about aftercare my as I'd never had a Thai massage before.
Now both me and my daughter are very stiff, next day. She feels like she's been hit by s bus too. I have spoken to the guy again today to tell him that we are even stiffer than at first. Not sure if I will put my body through this type of massage again .
On arrival I told the guy that this was our first time, and he didn't offer any advise on what to expect afterwards, he did say to have a hot bath, but only cos I asked,
Be careful when using these type of places not sure if masseurs have any medical training, so if you have back problems I would seek doctors advise first,
I paid forty two pounds each, just to have stiff shoulders again,
Not happy.
Have booked twice for this lovely massage centre. Attentive staff, clean, lovely oils used. Looks a little worn outside but once inside is very pleasant. Have recommended to others.
Booked for my husband, he came back telling me how great it was, he likes a firm massage and doesn't mind the extra pressure from a Thai massage and said it was up there with the best ones he's had. Place looked like a takeaway from the street and there isn't any parking so that's the only down side.
