The staff member who did the waxing could not speak english. She was ok but not great. The room was actually a cornered off area of the salon, with a curtain separating it off... made me a little uncomfortable as I was having a wax which was slightly painful! Was not overly happy with the final result but found it awkward trying to explain as she couldn't understand anything I was saying - so I just left it.
Really slow, took 2 hours instead of 45 mins. Shortage of staff and one was new and not sure what she was doing. Really friendly staff but shame about how long it took to get nails done. Nails looked good at the end though.
Great value for money, lovely lady on reception who looked after us superbly. The only thing that would maybe put me off going again would be the very aggressive guy who kept arguing with his colleague. It doesn't really make for a relaxing spa atmosphere. Not sure he's been through customer service training.
Really helpful, friendly staff! Amazing value for money, I had the Hollywood Wax and although it took longer than I expected, that was purely down to her being so thorough! It is just behind a curtain so if you're not one to suffer in silence, people are going to know! Would be nice if it was an actual room with a door to feel a bit more private but great overall.
I had a shellac manicure here last weekend. I got there and the host (who I found out was the owner too) had no idea I had an appointment. And instead of admitting she had made a mistake and thus my appointment wasn't there, she started lying to me saying 'you know with Wahanda we can't plan for people coming from the street etc, and thus you have to wait for this other lady that is waiting to go first'. And I had an appointment. Then she started saying my appointment wasn't confirmed - which it was and I proved her it was with the email and the text. Still didn't admit she had made a mistake. Then all her staff were super stressed, working to the clock and tired (didn't get chance to a break the whole day I found out later!) - I was seen by three different people as they all disappeared one by one and in the end the painting was done by a man who was rude and went out for a smoke in the middle of painting my nails. The whole thing was nothing like a beauty experience should feel like. And all in all, I ended up spending 1 h and 45 minutes there for a shellac paint (not manicure even). Judge for yourself if this place is worth going to.
