Very quick highlights and lovely colour. Only thing was that I wasn't notified about the £10 add on for a two-tone highlights which normally come as standard. This wasn't mentioned on Wahanda.
Went with no expectations but was totally surprised by the fantastic service and great job they did with my highlights. Was offered a refreshing non alcoholic cocktail on arrival which was a nice touch. Banging tunes coming from the sound system to boot! Will definitely go back!
I was warmly greeted in the tiny but clean and welcoming salon, but the woman who actually cut my hair was quite rude. She seemed offended I only wanted a trim, and kept asking if I wanted layers, or something else done. She was also quite rough when combing my hair, scraping my ears quite hard repeatedly with no comment or apology. She also never asked how I usually wear my hair, dried it with the part all messy and all over the place, didn't speak for maybe the last twenty minutes of my cut and never offered to show me the result. I had to ask her for the mirror to check the results myself. Definitely felt like she was trying to get me out of the salon as quickly as possible, which was odd as I had a 45-minute booking, was out in 30 (due to her rush) and was the only customer on my arrival.
I was offered a drink by the lovely guy who greeted me on arrival, but only once I'd been there about twenty minutes.
Cut was ok, she could have taken more off to get a more defined shape (I told her to take as much as she needed to achieve this) but the overall experience was quite unpleasant and I felt like I was intruding and unwanted - an odd experience when I'm paying to be somewhere!!
Would not return, there are other places in London which are equally cheap and where the stylists are more pleasant. Pity as it's a nice place in a great location.
