Went for a full leg wax. The room was fine, and the lady who did it was really sweet and friendly and clearly trying to do a good job. Unfortunately, 1) The slot allowed wasn't long enough. The lady mentioned that another client was waiting (30-45 mins). This was clearly causing anxiety. 2) Areas of the waxing were extremely painful with a tugging sensation. When I got home I discovered patches of skin had been taken off and I came out in bruises. General redness is usual but this has never happened before. 3) A lot of hair was left - several large patches. Some that was removed had been ripped rather than pulled out, making the wax worse than pointless. I spent a long time removing what I could myself. The lady did ask at the end if I was satisfied, but given the pain and the time pressure I didn't check thoroughly. Had I realised the extent before I got home, I would have spoken up. 4) I was left very sticky with wax and it was not at all comfortable walking home - I had to remove it with oil.
