My expectations were high when I arrived at Oolong as it is a great venue and seemed to have real buzzing atmosphere. It was very busy when I arrived but staff offered me a drink straight away and everything seemed fine. However, I was actually quite shocked at how rude my hairdresser Phil was. I was aware that my hair was quite damaged (I had been very busy and left it a bit too long in between cuts) however the way Phil spoke to me was, in my opinion, unacceptable. I was too embarrassed at the time to say anything as Phil was being really quite rude about my hair and speaking very loudly so that the whole salon could hear. This was a real shame because I was actually really pleased with the colour and cut and the other staff seemed to be really friendly.
I would have returned to this salon as it was great value for money but unfortunately my experience was ruined by this unprofessionalism.
Awesome- has improved my hair significantly . Will be returning every few months to get this done.
Phil is very nice and he will give you professional advice for your hair. Satisfied.
Phil was informative, friendly and great fun. Really understood what I wanted, and was happy for me to come back 2 days later for a retouch in colour. The salon itself is lovely, aswell as the glass of bubbly during my treatment. Very happy with the service and would defiantly go back :)
