The venue and the staff is just lovely. Everyone is very friendly. Phil has listened to what I wanted and I am happy with the haircut. Will be coming back.
I went for a ladies cut and blow dry and was overall underwhelmed. On arrival I offered water or tea even though the two other women in there had wine. I then sat for over 15 minutes before being seen to by the hairdresser. The wash was lovely, inclusive of a head massage and the cut itself is fine but the hairdresser was juggling my cut with two other dyes at the same time. When it came to the blow dry they obviously wanted me out quickly as the receptionist stepped in the help so I had two of them pulling at my hair every which way. With naturally curly hair I asked for soft bouncy curls to finish and I left with almost straight hair and so much product and oil I had to wash my hair when I got home.
Phil was brilliant, lovely and friendly and gave me lots of creative options for my hair.
Another great experience at Oolong Hair salon. I had a new stylist this time and she was brilliant. I left feeling very pleased with my hair cut and the finished look. The salon is always very welcoming and friendly.
I didn't feel as if I was given as much attention as I should have. My hairdresser was juggling 2 other clients as well as another staff member. I felt as if my balayage was rushed and when I got the toner put on my hair it wasn't distributed evenly, this may have been because I trainee did it even though I paid for a senior member of staff.
