The therapist was excellent. I asked for a strong massage and a strong massage was what I got! There was no extra chat or lengthy pauses, the therapist just got on with the massage after asking me a few health-related questions. I asked her to focus on my upper back and it was clear she was determined to get my stiff right shoulder working properly as she kept coming back to it. I left feeling much looser, relaxed and like I'd actually got what I asked for.

The actual massage was wonderful — Nana, my masseuse, was very perceptive, communicative, and skilled. I’m giving this experience a 3 (wanted to give it a 1 achually) because the overall experience was terrible. When I was waiting in the lobby, the owner got into an argument with someone who came in to file a complaint. They started yelling and screaming at each other and the owner even made some racist remarks: “I don’t understand what you’re saying. You have an accent” to the lady complaining. I sat there as they yelled at each other...not a great way to start the experience. I can not recommend this place because the owner just didn’t seem like a decent person.

Dreadful. I had booked this for a friend for her birthday. When we turned up there was no one at the reception desk. We waited 5 minutes and eventually I had to ask a guy outside if he worked there. He said he did and I explained I had a booking, so he pointed at a seating area and told us to wait there. The area was filthy and had dust all over the tables.
A lady arrived shortly and asked about the treatments I’d booked. I specifically said that they were both for my friend and neither for me. She nodded and took my friend to begin the treatment.
The guy who worked there then came to me and asked me I could do him a favour. He asked me to look after some suitcases belonging to other customers whilst he left the building. I told him no and that I wasn’t staff and wouldn’t be held accountable. He left the building regardless.
Half an hour after the first treatment; my friend arrived upstairs clothed. She said she didn’t know what was going on and was told to wait back in the “waiting area”. I was annoyed because I had already discussed this with the masseuse. When she came upstairs she ushered to me to come with her and I reiterated that none of those treatments were meant for me and that I had already told her they were for my friend.
They preceded to go back downstairs for the 2nd massage.
Once all finished my friend came up stairs and wanted to leave quickly. I asked her what was wrong and she said the lady spoke the entire time during the massage and she felt quite uncomfortable.
The whole thing was a complete joke and I actually felt embarrassed for taking the time to book this. Waste of absolute money and would never book again with treatwell. The rating system should be an indication of what you receive and that couldn’t have been far from what was advertised.
