freezing room temperatures did not make this start well. Half way through the massage, the therapists stoped and asked me what else I want her to do. I ask her to keep going with the treatment as it is and she said she'd finished so I told her to just keep going with my lower back. For the price I wish my sister didn't get it for me.
Don't let the name fool you, Opulence Spa is basic. It is a small room in the basement of a basic hotel. This is not a "spa", so do not arrive early expecting to be able to enjoy the amenities prior to your treatment, because there are none. The treatment room is clean, but basic. You are provided a towel to cover yourself, so if you're the type who gets cold during an hour long massage, don't expect any frills of comfort here (no warming blanket, etc).
My deep tissue itself was good. The masseuse was strong and had good communication throughout my service to make sure the pressure was to my liking etc. It's not the best I've had (I get massages quit frequently), but the massage is great value for what you pay. I would go back!
