I epically stacked a backflip after a yoga mat flew out from under me like a magic carpet fleeing the collapsing Cave of Wonders. As a result of said painful but hilarious gymnastics fail I've had a bust shoulder for a couple of weeks. Saturday I'd had enough of walking like Sasquatch and booked in for a deep tissue massage. I've had a fair few but nothing prepared me for Saturdays. Sweet. Baby. Jesus.
The masseuse jumped up onto the massage table like she was possessed by the spirit of an angry cricket before going to work. She had the strength of TEN Monica Gellars.
An hour and several muffled cries later (mine, not hers) and just as I was about to relent and confess to the Zodiac Killings, she lay a hot towel on me and said that the massage was complete. I thanked her and left in a haze of wonderment. Magically, she's near on fixed my ailments.
Professional and always asking if the pressure was OK, I can't recommend her enough. Amy at Opulence Spa, you're a freakishly strong 5ft goddess. Ta love. I'll definitely be returning.
I have sought massage treatment from Opulence Covent Garden twice already, with two different masseurs. I like trigger-point massage with strong strokes and I am very happy about the massages I received at Opulence. For the price you pay for, it's undoubtedly one of the best massage deals in town!
