Not relaxing at all, my wife and I felt very sore after, I had migraines for a week and had to go to an osteo to release the tension caused in my neck and back. Granted it was a deep tissue massage but I have had this many times before and it's never triggered a migraine or the need to take a trip to an osteo after. At a few points I was in pain and the massure didn't stop or lighten their pressure, even to the point my wife said I could hear you in agony! I think it would have been great value if I walked away or felt relaxed as an output, Won't be visiting again
I have been to Opulence twice and had great experiences both times. I did a 2 hour hot stone massage and the therapist really focused on my trouble areas and I would definitely go back. Also, great price compared to other places. The only drawback is that it's in the Soho gym, but you get over that quickly once you enter the actual Spa.
My therapist was Amy who trained in Thailand. It was the first time that I had warm towels placed on my feet and later across my back. I loved it. The massage was excellent and I re-booked the very next day. The spa itself is situated in a gym, which seems to be frequented by men mainly. Be prepared to pass a horde of sweaty males on your way to the spa.
Florentina was very professional, she explained everything in detail. She knows how to do it well and exactly knows where she should press it harder. Really great cost price ratio comparing to other massage treatment in Covent Garden area. Would definitely go back!! Highly recommend!!
