I booked an Indian Head massage, which is quite specific. I didn't get a bad massage, just not an Indian head massage. None of the techniques of the head massage were used, she rubbed the back of my head in the same motion for a while, then massaged my back, arms and hands (so I had to undress) then I turned around and she rubbed the front of my head for a bit and did my face - with no oil/cream so the rubbing became a bit painful towards the end. I know she said to me that if her nails were hurting me she could cut them but I don't think I should be put in a position where I have to ask my masseuse, after the massage starts, to cut her nails. I didn't say anything but yes they did hurt. Having said this I can tell that she was very good at actually massaging the body so I recommend booking a body massage with her. She was also very nice.
I found Lucia, the therapist, to be extremely experienced, competent and confident during my treatment. I particularly liked that she incorporated elements of head and neck/shoulder massage into what was billed as a face massage. My only slight negative was that the treatment room was underneath a hair salon and the loud pop music playing upstairs could be heard during quieter moments of the relaxation music that was playing in my treatment room. Overall a good value experience and I plan to return in the future.
Post due pregnancy Acupressure & Reflexology massage, it was very relaxing and made me feel amazing. Did not make my baby come any quicker, but well worth it for how good I felt walking out.
The massage combined the classic with lymphatic massage and acupressure points to deal with all the problems my body had. Really good with skilful therapist.
