I was thoroughly impressed by my experience at Elite Beauty. Meeting Olga, the beautician was great as she was very welcoming and made it clear I had the option to stop or take breaks since it was my first wax experience.
The treatment room was separate from the front of the salon, and was clean, with her playing ambient music throughout. Being able to "refresh" myself with organic wet wipes provided beforehand was also great for peace of mind in case there were worries about less than total freshness down below.
As for the wax experience itself, Olga worked quickly and efficiently, making sure I was comfortable with the temperature of the wax and the inevitable pain of my first ever Hollywood treatment. Despite having quite course curly hair, the whole process took less than 20 minutes and was not nearly as painful as I had anticipated (possible due to it being a hot wax that doesn't require strips, but I need to further research this). My greatest and only qualm was that, although she wore gloves and used a new wooden spatula with each new area of focus, there were a few instances I remember where she double dipped to apply a thicker wax coat. This may be an issue for those more concerned with hygiene.
Despite this I give the treatment experience five stars just due to her professionalism, the speed of the treatment and, in my opinion, the great value for money.

It was my first time waxing but Olga talked me through it calmly and made me feel at ease. The wax itself was not very painful at all and we chatted throughout. Everything was quick and professional. I loved the final result and will be going back there for sure!
