The spa is in a gym, not easy to find because there is another Fitness firs nearby. One of the therapists was lovely, she offered me to use the gym facilities, steam room, sauna and aromatherapy room as I was arrived earlier and they were running late. It was a pity that I haven’t my swimsuit but I managed with knickers and towels. It was really beneficial. I felt so relaxed afterwards. The therapist was friendly and polite and the massage was really relaxing and soft. Maybe a bit soft but I didn’t ask before starting. I had a full body collagen massage and it was great. The treatment room was very small but I had free access to the gym locker to put all my clothes and boots.
For me it was a very good deal!
I went as a post Christmas cheer up & frankly, shouldn't have bothered. It was difficult to find, so I was late & the abrupt therapist told me that I wouldn't be able to have the full hour: annoying, but reasonable- just could've been a little nicer about it.
The venue is horrible and in the basement of a noisy gym. To get to the treatment area you have to walk through a shower zone. The treatment room looked like a converted store cupboard and was completely unrelaxing as not only could I hear people walk past, but the air con/ heating system was constantly going on & off. The massage itself was average at best- very disappointing.
I generally enjoyed the experience although the salon didn't really have a spa ambience as it was part of a gym and the treatment rooms were very small and accessed via the shower/changing area. The therapist was very good though and given the price with the mobdeal was good value and what i was looking for.
The facial itself was wonderful with an excellent therapist. The ambience of the waiting room was disappointing. I was sat outside the loadies changing rooms and there was a musty smell. It is essentially a gym and no provision is made for any ambience
I arrived late as I was disorganised and then couldn't find it for a while! The therapist was lovely and offered me a different appointment time if I wanted. I decided just to have a shorter facial! It was great, I felt so relaxed afterwards. The products felt great too.
