Jordan was such a gem! I've finally found a hairdresser that I want to go back to.
I booked a last minute haircut with The Painted Lady. My hairdresser was rude and quite careless with the haircut. I had my consultation, hair cut, hair washed and curled in 30 minutes - as you would imagine in this time frame, no real effort was applied. He also cut my hair in a different parting to normal and had no regard for my actual parting stating ‘you can wear it wherever’. Rather than blow drying my hair with a brush, he simply asked me to turn my head over whilst he dried it with a hairdryer. He barely spoke a word to me and when he did, it was to criticise my labelling of my hair to be ‘gingery’ as he deemed it ‘Not ginger. Warm.’. Overall, I felt very uncomfortable during the whole experience. I wouldn’t mind if the haircut was a good standard however it simply wasn’t - half of my hair has just disappeared and been left a feathery mess.
Very conveniently situated close to work I could have my haircut in my lunch break. I felt she really listened to what I wanted although it was a routine trim and tidy I was very happy. My hair smells amazing too!
