Lovely technician! Had a good chat and the nails are beautiful! Would recommend adding a ‘removal & manicure’ option as I imagine this takes longer and may make it easier for technicians to accommodate back to back clients.
I received a voucher for this place to be used on hair service. Before I started I asked one of the employees if I could use it and he reassured me I could. On check out I tried to use it but the owner told me I could not use it with a Treatwell booking. I feel this is unfair as this was stated no where on the voucher. The hair so was nice but a bit lazy if I’m honest.
I also had a manicure and pedicure. Booked it using normal paint. While doing my feet the beautician continued to try talk me out of my colour choice calling it boring. She also said I should opt for gel on my hands as it lasts longer. I voiced my concern about it damaging my nails. She said it was fine for once. So I agreed to do gel. But then when choosing the colour she said I shouldn’t do a light colour as it would not do coverage. She talked me into her favourite colour which is a deep pink. I tried to go for my more natural choice but she was very persistent. In the end I didn’t like the colour but since it was gel I couldn’t even easily ask to change it. I landed up removing it 2 days later and my nails are scratched and highly damaged from removal so I’m now twice as upset.
Lovely friendly staff. This was my first visit at the painted lady and the staff made me feel very welcome. Extremely happy with my treatment and will certainly be returning again and recommending to friends/work colleagues
