Initially I was afraid to have treatment as I couldn't find someone I trusted enough in my area and also thought I may end up with a scar which was worse that the venous lake itself.
After my mum kept on about getting it treated I began to look further afield and although London is easier for me to get to I couldn't find a clinic which gave me enough confidence to go with them. After more research I came across Park Private Clinic in Nottingham and was so impressed with the website and the doctor who answered my call that I didn't have to look further.
I had the laser treatment done at the beginning of February and Shawana was excellent throughout. She was not only very professional but very caring and a pleasure to talk with.
The actual treatment only took seconds rather than minutes and my only slight negative was that it was more painful than I expected. Each laser 'zap' which only lasts a second each time felt like a pin prick which in the lip is probably more sensitive than elsewhere. However I must say that the pain was very quick and stopped as soon as the laser stopped.
As was explained to me my lip did slightly swell in the immediate area after treatment but nothing major. It did also scab over as Shawana had said it would. At this stage is was a little sore but maybe a cream would have soothed it ( I didn't put anything on it).
4 weeks after laser treatment my lip now looks completely normal again. I am thrilled (so is my mum!) and I thoroughly recommend Shawana and the Private Park Clinic.

Felt very welcomed and the dermatologist really listened to my issues I’m having with skin. She even helped inform me on what products would be beneficial for me within the clinic and over the counter.
The facial was amazing and my skin looked and felt great after! Will be going back in the near future for more treatments!
