The hamam itself was nice. It's nicely done up and you even have a relaxation area as soon as you come out of the hamam. My friend and I had a full hour in the hamam and thought it was pretty good. What we would have liked were gowns once we came out and clean cups (rather than used ones with water in it from previous users of the hamam). If you do book this experience, the hamam is great, but don't go for the food, dinner and breakfast was satisfactory...nothing great. Would not eat here again but would use the hamam. The bedroom was ok....the interior of the hotel is a little outdated and old. It really needs to be refurbished. No lifts so lots of stairs if your on the third floor. Not much to do locally unless you want to travel into central london. Overall we had a good time, would have been better if the food was good.
Nice friendly staff, wasnt sure what to expect...two men came into turkish bath room wearing little robes & flipflops. They put lotions on us, washed & scrubbed us both, then put amud pack on while giving a little massage. We were then rinsed off & seated in the a private roomwhere we had fruit & tea! Altough we felt a little uncomfortable to begin, this was thoroughly relaxing & enjoyable experience. :-)
We'll start with the negative...! The bedroom smelt unpleasant and no amount of opening the windows helped, it's not in a very nice area and the changing area in the Haman needs more thought.
On a positive note, the staff were really friendly and the restaurant was cool. The Haman was pleasant but we won't be going back. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't for you but if you want a bit of fun and can keep a sense of humour then it's just about worth the money!
Enjoyed the experience after traveling to Marrakech I have been trying to find the same or similar standard of service that was there, and after visiting pasha hotel I can say this was extremely close. Reception staff were a bit slow with setting up our appointment. But once we got inside the changing room I was impressed by the ambiance. Was a bit shocked that for two females going into the bath we had male therapists but hey they were not to heavy handed and gave me a good rub down so I was impressed so if you dont like other men touching your body don't go ahahaaha... Skin felt as soft as a baby's bottom afterwards I am going again very soon!!
great massage but dodgy location and iffy surroundings....steam room was steam free and poor couple behind us had to wait an hour for a treatment.....masseurs were both great though. . . . . . . . . . .
