I just wanted to say how much I like this lovely salon. I've been in there several times over the last few weeks and have tried almost every service they have. The ambiance is lovely, the staff so friendly and have really enjoyed trying new things such as the spray tan. Barbara was fantastic in explaining everything and there was no feeling of "being tango'd" after at all- it was a lovely, natural colour. My feet feel lovely after my pedicure with the mask treatment. Also I can't recommend the waxing and threading lady enough. She did a fantastic job- and hardly a squeal out of me- which is unusual!! I decided to try Peint after a recommendation from a colleague, and I'm so glad I did!! What a great find!!
I've been to Peint 4 or 5 times now - so I've got quite a lot to fit into this review! - and have had a great experience each time. The salon decor and ambience is lovely - welcoming and great balance of relaxing and funky - the products and treatments are great, but the highlight for me is the friendliness, approachability and cheerful attitude of the staff. I've had manicures, IBX and a pedicure from Georgie, and despite my self consciousness about my feet (I've never felt entirely comfortable during pedicures before) she put me entirely at ease and I felt totally relaxed. I've also had quite a few questions about the different treatments and what service would be best for me each time - some of the questions probably a bit silly and quite obvious - and she has always given straightforward helpful answers and suggestions - with no pressure and no hard sell, and also without being at all patronising. Which is so refreshing! I've also had nail art from Chantelle, which I can't recommended highly enough. It was beautiful and drew lots of compliments - she paints intricate flowers with very effective highlight detailing and immaculate finishing. I was very disappointed that (due to a wedding and my poor planning) I had to take it off after only a week, and will definitely be booking in with Chantelle for nail art again. I really like the clarity of the mani/pedi menu - it's easy to see the different levels of treatment and pick from one end of the menu if you're tight on time or budget, but lean to the upper end for some serious pampering. I've had manicures and pedicures from various other places in the past but have limited them to special occasions only. Peint has changed my mind about this and I'm going to be a regular customer - have had my patch test so tinting next, and I'm looking forward to trying gel extensions in a couple of weeks' time... So I'll see you Peint ladies again very soon!
to all Woucher customers, I went with my daughter through a Wowcher offer for manicure and pedicure. I have warned Wowcher off how upset I been with the treatment of the other offers I had, not only you get an evil look when you show your wowcher but I have always ended up paying on top of the offer. so Peint was my last chance. And what a surprise I had. Staff welcoming happy to take the wowcher no odd faces at all. No over payments or trying to sell me anything. Both nail treatments excellent, we love the result and I will definitelly go back with or without wowcher and try the Bmx treatment, the prices are reasonable and it is definitelly worth the travel from Croydon. I highly recommend this place. A big thanks from my daughter and myself and see you as soon as payment day is due.
I booked an appointment at Peint through wowcher and thought I had got a bargain. To be honest it wasn't a complete disaster as the staff were friendly, salon was clean and I loved the Moroccan decor. But I will say that I don't think if you buy the mani-pedi deal from wowcher that you're getting a good deal. My main concern is that the deal states that it is a manicure and a pedicure however, my feet felt quite underwelmed once I left. As this was my first time getting a pedicure I didn't expect more than a paint job. But after going home and (for some strange reason), looking up what a pedicure is meant to include I realised that I hadn't received a foot scrub and the dead skin still remained on my feet. Initially I thought that maybe the beautician didn't realise that this is part of a pedicure and I must say that she gave my feet and hands a lovely massage. So in all I am certain that I would not be buying this deal nor will I be going to this salon again as I still have to go and get the calluses removed from my feet but I will say she did a lovely paint job and hopefully they will include the full pedicure for their next client.
I booked a manicure & pedicure off wowcher which states worth £49 and paid £15. Regardless of how much I paid, the entire experience was horrific, the lady did not offer me any service. Not only did she not cut or shape or paint my nails accurately she left dead skin all over my feet. Basically paid to have my nails painted for what is was worth she did a really poor rushed job 30 mins for both my hands and feet. No foot scrub, no hand massage. I have never had a pedicure or manicure like this EVER!!! DO NOT EVEN GO THERE!!!
