I visited peppermint for waxing and I must they have a very polite staff. I would definitely recommend this place for waxing.
The place is nice ana cozy, staff is friendly and smiling. From this point, everything is very good. However, the waxing itself appeared to be quite useless - skin was not clean enough.
Pros: Nice shop, waiting area is clean and nicely furnished place is comfortable and easy to find. I've been twice now and the staff were sooooo lovely, so nice and accommodating. Wax itself was perfect and not as painful as some salons.
Cons: Treatment room needed sweeping, and there was no where to put your personal stuff but the dusty floor. Therapist didn't wash her hands between the previous client and me and didn't wear gloves - not the end of the world, but should be improved.
Henna was the therapist, and she made me feel very comfortable since I was pregnant, and kept checking if I was alight. She clearly understood my expectations from the facial - to remove blackheads and did a thorough job of removing the blackheads.
I've been visiting Peppermint for years. The shop has had a makeover recently and looks very upmarket. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable too. I usually visit for waxing which is done professionally and quickly. I have started a treatment of mircrodermabrasion and have been impressed by the results so far. The treatment was very relaxing and targeted my problem areas.
