Emma was fantastic! Massage was top notch and relaxing due to me going to the gym and having tight muscles. Next day after my facial my face was glowing. Excellent day with my friend who was also very impressed. Thanks Emma XX
Paid for treatments through Groupon. They demanded the Groupon code online explaining it saves time as no one is at reception or something along them lines. I became confused about parking as the salon is located within a hotel. Absolutely nowhere else to park for free as it's basically at the NEC/Airport. I later found out users of the salon get parking validated which is nice but it would have been nice to know beforehand. I found them unapproachable as they were too concerned about getting the money rather than helping prospective clients actually book and get their consult.
I've since found another deal, also on Groupon. I booked, received consultation and patch test; only after this was was I asked for the Groupon voucher on my way out. This is how you do business. There are rogue traders on Groupon who take the code then ghost you. If the business redeems your voucher it's very difficult to get a refund later. Even if you can't get or never had an appointment. And in the case of laser, a consultation will determine if the treatment is suitable or not so it is a must. That is when payment should be redeemed, when treatment is actually going ahead.
The salon later explained many users don't turn up for their appointment and that is why they request the Groupon code when attempting to book. This sounds a little more reasonable if that is their policy so why not say that in the first place instead of saying no one is at reception which basically sounded like a scam to me. Maybe the treatment is good but business practise needs a improvement.
