Sadly had a bad experience. Booked with director but he really didn't listen to me. I even brought a number of pictures of a modern shag to show him and spent time giving as many key words as I could. Told him it was what I wanted but ended up with a very slightly layered at the back and feathered at the front. I was also very clear on no feather.
We obviously had a bad communication somewhere. The staff were lovely and I felt very welcomed and was put at ease at the start. But by the end I felt very frustrated. My hair also looked in terrible condition when I left the salon. Was happy to get home and have it washed with my natural products and see the health return. But the cut is still horribly disappointing for me. And I don't like seeing myself in the mirror. Am having to pin it all back as I'm embarrassed.
I think it was a bad experience for me personally as they have such good reviews. I just wish he had been honest if he didn't know how to do a modern shag. The photos were very clear. At the end there were excuses for why he couldn't get it the way I wanted. But it always rings alarms for me when those kinds of excuses come out.
Anyhow, I am sad to leave this review but I think it important for the salon to be aware so they can improve in the future. But they obviously have many happy customers. So if you're considering them, know I'm just one voice.
