Overall the manicure was OK. positives are that I managed to get a last minute appointment, the nail bar is tucked away so is quite peaceful, and for 30 mins the manicure itself was better than I thought it would be. The biggest negative for me is the nail colour. I opted for a regular paint, rather than gel or shellac. I 'm pretty sure the lady used a gel colour on me, as there didn't appear to be any normal nail varnish on the shelf. I chose a pale peach/pink colour and it looked OK when it was going on. But when I walked outside into the daylight the colour was patchy - I think another coat or 2 was needed - and the nice pale pink colour I chose appeared neon in the sunlight. It was bizarre and disappointing. I had to repaint my nails as soon as I got home, which isn't what you want after a manicure. I'm not sure whether anyone else has had that experience at that salon? I've had lots of manicures over the years and haven't had that happen before
