I had to book a lip wax under the brows and it still cost 10 pounds! I still had the odd long hair remaining after the waxing, which I had to remove myself with tweezers. The wax also stripped away skin from my upper lip and I had a scab for about 5 days after. Although the staff were nice, the service did not live up to the basic quality required for waxing.
Having booked for definition brows (which Treatwell says includes wax, tint, pluck and thread) I got to my appointment to find definition brows at Pierre alexandre only includes a tint. I was quite unhappy so the beautician I’d been assigned offered to wax them too. While it was a kind gesture (as it was not her fault that I had been misrepresented as to the treatment I was receiving) the wax itself wasn’t brilliant. It took her 4 attempts to pull a wax strip off under my eye and I left with wax on the inner corners of both my eyes, which I had to go back to work with.
An exceptional massage that really targeted the areas I requested. I didn't have high expectations because it was so affordable but I was surprised by the quality. I highly recommend.
