person i was booked in with was not available so had to have another member of staff which was awkward for her but under the circumstances she did a good job
I booked my haircut on Treatwell and paid in advance. When I turned up at Pierre Alex Didsbury the lady at the salon said I wasn’t booked in and I couldn’t be seen. Bearing in mind that I had received both an email and text reminder only that morning, and had paid in full, I was disgruntled to say the least. She basically turfed me out and said it wasn’t her problem.
I later got a call from the manager who was excellent. She offered to do my haircut that morning and was apologetic and friendly. I really appreciated that. Treatwell were also very apologetic. However I would still be reluctant to book in this way again as I wouldn’t want to risk being sent away again, as I felt stupid, and wouldn’t want the uncertainty and potential inconvenience to me. If they hadn’t fulfilled the appointment I could’ve lost the money too.
I’m glad the manager was able to help and sort the situation so I do feel satisfied that I was dealt with well in the end. And the haircut was good too
