Second time to do highlights with blow-dry but unfortunately the colour wasn't exactly what I want it. And it was so busy, spent 4 hours to complete everything.. such a waste of time especially when you see that your final result wasn't what you expected. Quite frustrating!
Love my hair, although I went in for an ombre on the ends it is alot higher up then expected, I have more dirty roots than a gradual ombre but I do like it.
I wasn't told to begin with that there is a £5 tint charge, I wouldn't have known unless I'd asked for a detail receipt so I do think this is something they should tell people.
I booked a self service blow dry, but I ended up paying to have it done as it was very warm in the salon and the thought of drying my own hair in the heat made me feel a little light headed. I do think £19 for a 5 minute power blow dry is expensive, I have had curly blows for the same price.
I've mixed feelings on the salon and the fact I ended up paying £80 overall and I do not have a proper ombre, also there are different tones in the colour and I'm some places it doesn't blend properly.
I visited this salon last week for the second time for a wash and blow dry. The woman who washed my hair (Robin I think) was really nice and helpful. I went in a bit desperate for a wash cause I had styling was in my hair that would not come off from a not so great visit to a different salon the previous day and Robin did everything she could to get the wax out of my hair. Then a different lady (Mary) blow dried my hair and I was pleasantly surprised by her professionalism. Overall a very good experience.
