Greeted by a friendly receptionist, hair washed thoroughly and best of all the stylist knew exactly what she was doing with my blow dry! Will definitely go back on my next visit to Leeds and recommend to others.
My haircut is fine but the stylist (wasn’t told a name - and she stage whispered more than once to the person who greeted me to check what my name was. Should just ask i’d suggest) wanted to know if I wanted my hair curled or straightened...I didn’t want either, just a blow dry, but she didn’t seem to understand that so I gave up eventually and said curled. The curling happened before I’d been shown the cut and layers etc and without any heat protection stuff being applied, and after was hairsprayed into crispness. Not how I wanted to leave exactly but it looked nice I guess.
They had music playing through Spotify but hadn’t got premium so lots of adverts! I don’t mind (definitely used to those adverts) but thought it was a bit funny for a professional place.
The stylist didn’t attempt to make conversation at all. I don’t mind that usually not being much of a chatter myself, but it did feel a bit awkward not even having the ‘how are you’ niceties at least.
So, i am happy with the haircut when all is said and done and that’s what matters. But the experience as a whole wasn’t very impressive. It will depend on the person I guess what they’re after from a haircut as to whether I’d recommend Pierre Alexandre!
