I have had many waxes done previously and usually have a high tolerance for pain. Unfortunately, I found my treatment at Pivoine quite painful. The staff member also 'double-dipped' the wooden spatula in the waxing pot after spreading the wax on my skin which can cause cross-contamination and spread infections and diseases when the same pot is used on multiple clients. Furthermore, the room was extremely hot and the paper spread on the bed to "keep the cleanliness and avoid clients laying on the same bed" kept ripping and I found myself touching the actual plastic on the bed very early on during the treatment. Not satisfied and would not recommend this place.

It was more painful then I have experienced before due to the nature of the wax removal technique. I would rush back because of that. The threading however was very good.
