Sorry for the over long post - im extremely disappointed . I've wasted a lot of time and money and now I'm left with 5 nail tips after a week ! I'm not sure what exactly went wrong at this salon but I must say I'm not happy with my nails at all. I went a week ago for powder gel extensions and as soon as I left , the nail polish started chipping. I did not know the powder gels weren't cured under UV light and then I found out normal nail polish is used on top. After 20 minutes of leaving , the nail polish just started chipping. I paid 25 pounds for this. After contacting Wahanda, the salon offered me to go back to get them done again ... Assuming it would be free of charge! The lady who was also the manager was very kind , the place was nice so I got called back the next day where the manager checked the nails and said that I must have done something to the polish and then got told to go back the next day in order for her to put shellac over my tips. After going back for the last time , I had shellac put over my tips . The lady said it would last four weeks ! Although I'm not too sure of shellac being used on tips ... I insisted on gel nails but they only did shellac . I was also asked to pay an additional 10 pounds for this. The manager was kind enough to redo my nails ... But I wasn't happy with paying an extra 10! But I did it anyway , with her promise of them lasting me 4 weeks. I'm really upset because I ended up paying 35 pounds for this treatment. I went 3 times in total , wasted money on travel and now every day my nails are coming off ! I don't know how the tips were put on , but I've never had any issues with my nails at other salons . I do not have time to keep on going back. I've had nails last for a month and I paid half the price in other places ! I'm very disappointed to leave this review; because the manager was really nice . But this should not have happened and I should be entitled to a partial refund for all of this hassle , and for having 5 nails left. Nail extensions should last 3-4 weeks and not 3-4 days.
This is 1st time going to this venue, I had to wait around for approximately 30mins as they were running behind time. I felt the lady who did the treatment was rushed. The layout of the bed & the wax machine opposite so when getting more wax there was a trail of dry wax across my face/hair which i had to keep removing. Numerous times the wax was too hot to put on skin but she continued and it seemed all a hot mess tbh! Would I go again, not so soon! it felt rushed, rough and painful.
I went for a shellac manicure and pedicure. Sonia was super nice and chatty. I'm pretty fussy and she accommated all my requests with a smile, even doing an extra coat of colour on my nails. Would definitely go back when I'm in the area.
This was for my daughters hair. She is mixed and has loads of soft curly/frizzy hair. The lady took her time to blow dry and straighten her hair before cutting it as she wanted the layers out. My daughter was delighted with it
The staff at this salon did a wonderful job with my bridal hair and make up, I will definitely return.
