Had a routine haircut done, quite happy. Reasonable price, good quality cut (you know, how it may look good right after, but not so good in weeks time - not the case here). With tree kids I rarely have time for style and blow dry, just wash the head early in the morning and it dries while I'm making breakfast - Aushra's cut always look nice. It also lasts a bit longer than I used to. I normally have hair colored as well, not this time though, Aushra is incredible colorist! Meticulous process, takes time, but worth every minute and penny.
One thing to notice: if you short on time - book Dinara. I sometimes have to come with my 1 yo baby, which adds stress into the entire experience - she is very fast and confident, can accommodate various situations.
All in all great salon - clean, spacious, friendly - with a reasonable prices.
Crikey where do I start. I am writing this review because I can't believe the high ratings it got and which encouraged me to go there in the first place. Alarm bells first rang when there was no one in the salon at 1pm on a Saturday. The staff could barely speak English and didn't seem to understand what I had booked, but they seems to like standing close to the hairdresser watching me and chatting which made me feel really uncomfortable throughout. When I explained that I was there for a half head of highlights, a hair cut and a deep tissue massage the lady disappeared and came back with a dye solution for my hair. She didn't even discuss the colour with me and just slapped it on, crunching the foils on as if my hair was a turkey dinner. The manager was very polite and nice and said that the hairdresser had a very good technique and that it would look very nice. Utter rubbish. When the highlights were washed out I was pretty much told that because I have a few grey hair hairs that I should buy a toning treatment for £20 or the colour would look bad. So obviously I did. The cut itself was very nice although what I actually wanted was a trim. She didn't understand "please just take the ends off" and I ended up having the haircut that she wanted me to have, not the one I wanted. And I am left with very clear visible roots from the colour- not the natural looking result I wanted at all. And the massage... I have a small child who keeps me awake a lot and so I was exhausted. The purpose of a deep tissue massage is to get rid of knots. She basically just stroked my back for 45 minutes and sent me asleep because I was so tired- but the knots remain! All in all I was way too polite about all of this and should have asked for a refund as I'm going to have to go elsewhere to have this sorted out. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place unless you speak Lithuanian or Russian and are a lot braver than me.
