I have been here once before as I needed a quick cheap wax. Although the picture looks NOTHING like the actual shop, the wax was great so I thought why not? The first time my beautician was full of conversation which flowed nicely and helped distract from the pain. She was extremely thorough and did a great wax on me.
Because of this I thought I'd go again.
I go here at my allocated time - 12pm and the woman was waiting for me at the door. She takes me back to the room and says "Okay, are you getting undressed?"... no privacy. I looked at her in a confusing way to which she replied "or I can leave?" but she seemed extremely hesitant. I allowed her to stay as I was already starting to get undressed. I lay down and the wax begins. She coats the whole area in hot wax, not even starting from the outside but at the top.
The wax was messy and I felt as though she was rushing it. She kept asking if the wax was good enough, which I feel if as a beautician you should be confident in your ability otherwise you shouldn't being conducting/charging for waxes.
When she said she was finished I noticed a lot of hair in one place so I asked if she could do it again. Insure of getting all of the hairs, the woman kept waxing the same place so much so that skin has been torn off. I could not sit down properly for the rest of the day while it healed!
When the wax was over she left the room - door open for anyone to come in while I was getting changed - then proceed to ask my mum, who was waiting for me, how much I needed to pay (shouldn't she know the price list?) My mum assured her I paid online yet she seemed sceptical.
We left and that is the last time I will ever return. Save your money and go to a professional.
I had a haircut and blow dry here the other day. The staff were lovely, it was really good value for money, and I was really happy with how my hair looked after. I will definitely be returning here when I need a haircut, and also to try some other treatments!
