I went to the salon to get SNS extensions and was left thoroughly disappointed with them, even after having a member of staff correct the terrible mess that the first number of staff had left them in. I understand that SNS nails don't resemble acrylic nails in terms of the thickness and smoothness at the top of the nail - but I know that SNS nails should not be lumpy. The nails were lumpy on the top and completely uneven. It looked completely ridiculous. This was after 1 of the nails became covered in glitter that has been left on the gel nail polish brush. The woman noticed it had happened and rather than telling me about it, hoped I wouldn't notice. After talking to the woman about the terrible state of the nails, she became hostile and rude. She simply tried to brush it under the carpet and insisted she told me they would look that way. Another woman then came over to put them right, which in fairness, she did. They were no longer bumpy or uneven, but the colour had been filed off so much that it became uneven. You could also tell that she was not happy in the slightest to have to be correcting it. It is such a shame that the service was so poor, as I am regularly in the area and was looking for somewhere where I can regularly go to get my nails done. The only positive thing about the entire experience was the gentleman who worked there. He wanted to make sure I was happy with my nails, no matter how long it took to correct them. It is just a shame that I wasn't. I won't be visiting again.
Another hilariously bad experience. There must be a better way of verifying these venues’ quality. The reviews have got to be fake or rigged? Or paid for? My left foot is a bit messy, but my right foot is a joke. The lady was so sweet, I didn’t have the heart to say anything — and to be honest, I didn’t really trust she’d do a better job touching it up. Half the nails on my right foot are smudged, or so gappy they look ridiculous. This was me giving Treatwell one last chance, but I’m done. It’s a pants app.
