I have been coming to this salon for over a year now for various treatments. I was recommended by a family friend to try out the lazor treatment - which is priced VERY reasonably especially as I am a student! I saw results a couple weeks after my first treatment but to see real and consistent results I would recommend undergoing at least 6-7 treatments ( depending on hair thickness I guess). The lady Huma ( who I believe is also the owner) is very customer orientated and always makes me feel comfortable and explains all procedures before any treatment, she is also a skin specialist and since suffering from some serious break outs on my face earlier this year, she recommended her green peel face treatment and I kid you not - it's a miracle worker and worth every single penny! My skin has never looked more fresh more smooth, spot and blemish free I can go weeks without any make up but still feel comfortable in my own skin. I am getting married in a couple of weeks time and have booked Huma for my make up and hair after seeing her recent work on a bride which I have fallen in love with!!! I'm 100% getting my values worth here, it's a one stop station for me to get any beauty treatments and for anyone wanting lasting and effective treatments at good prices I would deffo recommend this place HANDS DOWN!
I went into the salon where there was no one at reception and I was ignored by the staff who looked at me several times but continued about their work until I started to look a bit flustered. After telling them I was there for a make up appointment I was told to take a seat. I waited for about 10 minutes and then a member of staff (who I later discovered was doing my make up) came into the salon, spoke to some women who were also waiting for her and then went into a room with the other women. I asked the other staff several times when I would be getting my make up done and explained that I would need to leave soon to get to a wedding (which was the reason for wanting my make up done). The staff called out to the woman (who I think is the owner) who had gone into the room with the other women and they did so several times before she came out 30 minutes after my appointment time and asked me what I wanted to have done. I quickly explained whilst feeling very stressed and anxious because I was going to be running late for my cousin's wedding. She told me she would do it in 20 minutes rather than 30 since I was in a rush which made me feel both relieved and anxious at the same time. I wasn't very happy about the foundation being so heavy but knew that I didn't have time for it to be rectified so I didn't mention it to her. I had asked for a specific eyeliner style (which I showed her a photo of) and what I got wasn't really the same but didn't look hideous and I didn't have time for it to be changed, so again I didn't mention it to her. The eyeshadow and lipstick looked acceptable but could have been better if they hadn't have been done in a rush. I was relieved when my make up was finished because I just wanted to get out of the salon and rush home to do my hair and get dressed because by this point I was running pretty late, so it was quite annoying when she began to give me a card which she wrote their telephone number on and started to make chit chat when all I wanted to do was leave.
Very annoyed! Travelled 30 mins to this appointment for a wax and hair cut to find no answer at the door or no answer when I called her. Complete waste of time!
Fantastic service, friendly and most importantly made me feel comfortable. Great value for money too. Have already rebooked for my next wax!!
Always a little worried when trying somewhere new but this place is perfect!!
