This place is mixed. The opening hours are great so I think for nails and waxing it would be spot on - but it isn't the most relaxing environment for a facial or massage. The therapist was good but people came in to the room I was in to get stock during my treatment and the room was noisy.
Late opening times, which is great as I usually end up working late. The shop is clean and a little out of the way, but worth it in my opinion. I hadn't had a hot cream wax before, but I'd highly recommend it. Compared with a strip wax, it's considerably less painful. It's a little less thorough when pulling out hair, so sometimes it can take a couple of attempts to really get everything, but even with that in mind it's still less painful than strip wax! Very professional, lots of care and effort being taken, and I really appreciate how welcoming everyone was. Will definitely be returning in a few weeks!
I booked a regular underarm wax. As soon as I walked in I was told it would be best to upgrade to a hot wax for more money. I declined, however throughout the session I was being told that a hot wax is better, maybe this was to cover up incompetence?
The beautician did remove the remaining short hairs with tweezers at my request.
However I found it very rude that I booked one thing and kept being told what a bad choice it was and that it won't work. If they don't think it works they shouldn't offer it!
