Have visited this spa a few times and have always been happy with the treatments. They use Leighton Denny manicure products, which are lovely. Nice staff and it's very convenient with late night opening and free parking.
I booked a top-to-toe spa day for my Grandma and myself for first thing in the morning a few days before Christmas and told the member of staff that I spoke to on the phone the details of the deal. I drove to Motherwell from Newcastle the day before and my Grandma and myself got up early the following day and went to Glasgow for the spa day. When we got there, a member of staff handed me a form, then I said my Grandma needed one and the receptionist said that only one person was booked in. I told her about the telephone conversation when I booked it and that the person was told. She said it would have to be rebooked, I asked when the next available appointment was and she said 7pm, 10 hours after the original appointment had been booked and two hours after the latest time the voucher was accepted. When I told her this and that I was going home later that day, she said they would allow it as an exception. Even though we said that we weren't going to use the sauna as my Grandma didn't have swimwear, we still had to wait over 45 minutes to receive treatment and were the only customers. They did apologise, but I am still not happy about it as I had already told them I had a long drive home that night. I am aware of the cautions for after a massage, but I have pets that I needed to get back home to, which is why I originally left a lot of time before setting off home, otherwise I would have stayed over another night. The treatment itself was good, although I had notified the therapist about painful areas, she wasn't taking off enough pressure each time I requested so I had to keep asking. She said at the end that I should take my time to get up and get dressed and that she would come back in ten minutes, but she came back in less than that time and I hadn't even got up when she knocked on the door.
PURE SPA SILVERBURN was a very good experience i went with my daughter for my birthday, the facial was very good and left me feeling younger. berfore any treatment you recieve a foot wash which was very good and which did not need to be added in but was a good surprise. i also recieved a hand and arm massage after my treatment. The receptionist was a little wary when we were leaving wither everything was paid for or not, which was a little surprising. one glass of water whilst in the 30minute infra red sauna was not enough.
my experience at PURE Spa Silverburn, was excellent located within silverburn but on its own. The beauty therapist was very proffesional and excellent at her job. i also enjoyed an infra-red sauna, which i think could have been bigger, as if there was 3 people they would not fit in it, 2 regular size people only would fit in it. over all i would highly recommend PURE Spa.
I purchased the 2 for 1 Top to Toe Spa Day package yet the whole thing was over in less than 90 minutes.
On a positive note my friend had a few problems getting to the spa and they rescheduled her sessions so she didn't miss out.
On a less positive note the therapist didn't tell me anything about the Elemis products used during the facial or why she was using them and the hot stone massage was only shoulders, neck and back.
Overall it didn't meet my expectations and I don't think it was terrific value for money.
