When I saw this outlet opening round the corner from where I live I got really excited. I decided to give them a try with an eyelash lift treatment that I do on a regular basis.
Knowing that whenever I use a new place for such treatments a patch test will be required, I turned up at the venue the day before where I was "welcomed" by the lady who was a temp branch manager (she said she normally works at a different branch) and with an annoyed voice informed me that I needed to book an appointment in order to have a patch test done which for various reasons was utterly ridiculous! Like I said I used different salons and never had a similar situation when I was rejected for a patch test that takes 10 seconds to do! Additionally a massive advert on the hotel states "WALK-INS WELCOME", moreover the manager had her laptop with bookings open and there were maybe 1-2 bookings in the whole day! When I expressed my disappointment they frantically started looking for perming agents etc and it turned out they didn't even have these on premises so I didn't have a test done in the end.
The actual treatment was done by the lovely lady Haleema. Unfortunately the treatment did not go well as my left eye lashes turned out to be scrambled and going in different directions which looked really bad and she admitted it. So she re-did the treatment on that eye but there was not much improvement... I was flying to Asia for two weeks the next day so being left without time I just had to no choice but to let it go. Now around 7 weeks later my eyelashes are still scrambled and what is even worse half of them broke as a result of overprocessing!!! I look horrible and I can't even put mascara on as it makes it look even worse. I am really devastated as it will probably take months for lashes to look normal again. What a shockingly unprofessional and compromising service!
Very nice and friendly staff. The appointment began on time, and the gel polish removal took exactly the time stated on the booking (20 min). The spa itself is located in the basement of a hotel and may feel a bit stuffy on warmer days.
