The girl who cut my hair was so helpful and did a great job. Bit of a novice hair wash, but the cut and blow dry was great. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

I had a deep cleanse facial treatment with one of the consultants at Hair and the City, and came out of the appointment very pleased. The therapist was very friendly and I was greeted warmly when arriving; however, the stairs going down to the lower level for treatments were a bit off a put off as they were tiny and felt structurally unsound. The venue is a bit more trendy than it appears in the thumbnail pictures, but it seemed clean and tidy. The actual appointment itself was good value for money. The therapist was open in suggesting products to use after the treatment. The deep cleanse felt through, with a full cleanse, steam, exfoliant, mask, toner and lotion. I have slightly sensitive skin and none of the products irritated my face. I usually leave a facial feeling oily or at least unfit for society, but after the the treatment my face felt clean and oil free and I could go the rest of the day with just a little bit of concealar and mascara. Even my husband noticed an immediate difference in my skin. I would definitely visit Hair and the City in the future and would recommend it to anyone seeking a sensible deep cleansing facial.

The hairdressers are excellent. My only complaint is the 2 dogs that are always in the salon. I LOVE dogs and they are so cute but I am severely allergic. I had to find another salon because I can not handle being around the dogs :(
