this salon is one of the best i have been to and i have been to a few to try to get the best result that i want for my hair and i could only find this salon could give it to me exactly what i wanted for my hair to look healthy shiny and greatly styled, the staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome it was a very chatty sociable place to be. i had a girl named demi as my stylist i highly recommend her she was listening to everything i wanted as i was a little nervous to get it done as i have had such bad experiences before in other places. she done so well and showed how i could wear my hair in different ways to suit my face shape more. i would defiantly come back again thankyou so much to the team of hair and the city.

I have had my waxing done here for the first time, it was my first time i had a hollywood so i was really nervous, but the beautician karina really assured me that i'd be fine and was really comforting to me and chatty. Over all the waxing was done very good and it didn't hurt me at all. I felt very relaxed and at ease. The receptionist Annie was very helpful as she also offered me half price waxing treatment if i was to book back on the same day. I also booked in for a haircut HALF PRICE!
My experience here was brilliant i will defiantly be back!!
What more could you ask at a salon!!!
I think the value was good, but my stylist was more than a bit rough, and I didn't really get the haircut that I asked for. I also felt like they were rushing me through.

Generally disappointing. Considering the price mark you would expect this to be a higher end hairdressers. For that reason it fell short on so many levels. I wasn't offered a drink until about half an hour in. The staff whilst doing my hair chatted amongst themselves about their personal life which was unprofessional and frankly awkward. The person who did my hair left before it was finished and someone else washed it out. I was completely ripped off considering what I had asked for (highlights) and my hair came out in 1 colour (note I had to even pay more than the price of highlights because apparently my hair needed a toner, which I was specifically told on the phone 2 days before I wouldn't be charged extra for. I don't mind that toner costs more but then you need consistency in what all staff are telling clients). Considering as well I had spent time talking to someone on the phone 2 days before to make sure they could do the colour I wanted over my already dyed hair, when I got there and I made my request the hairdresser essentially said it couldn't be done until she went and asked a colleague. Again I don't mind her checking with someone else more experienced but her initial attitude of I was mad to expect my colour to be done was very rude. £92 for an all over colour that took 2 hours 20 minutes - not good. The plus side - the all over colour is nice!
