I didn't actually manage to get my hair done! Was booked in for half head highlights and cut and blow dry. Called the salon before to check they did the Balayage technique rather than the foils, receptionist said yes. Booked the appointment, arrived and the hairdresser said she was very sorry but had never done the technique before in her life!
A complete waste of my time. Not the hairdressers fault, but definitely the salons fault.
When I walked in to the salon there were two dogs under the reception desk. The whole salon smelt badly of dog. It was rather a relief to get back out into the fresh air again! Not the smell you are expecting when you walk into a salon!

I have just moved into this area, and i desperately needed a hairdresser's. My friend recommended me Hair and the City and i cannot thank her enough. I told my hair stylist Demi that i wanted a change in colour and the style of my hair. I had a dramatic change and i absolutely LOVE IT! dying my hair from brown to copper is a massive change for me but i love it and also Demi cut my hair into a bob which i have never had before, but after all the comments i have got from my friends and family they think it really suits me too.
I highly and definitely recommend Hair and the City to everyone!!! :)
I didn't like the haircut. I asked my hair to be nicely shaped but the hairdresser only trimmed the ends and did not cut it though the whole length as I would expect and it remained messy. At the end I hardly see any difference. Also even though it was said that the creative director would be doing hair cut the hairdresser seemed to be very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this hair salon.

I had my first waxing done with Karina which was painless and she done a really good job! I will definitely be back :)
