Love the dogs in the salon. So cute but well behaved, not jumping up on you if you aren't a dog lover. Both ladies in the salon were very friendly and professional and the stylist that did my hair was lovely. I'm impressed with the cut, she did exactly as I asked. We had quite an in depth conversation and I found her quite inspiring! I will definitely be back

The hair cut itself is not badly done. My issue is that I went in asking for just a simple trim and came out with a completely new hair cut. At one point I had been turned away from the mirror and the hairdresser was thinning my hair out. I only noticed after it was done.
Again I am sure the haircut itself is done well but it was not at all what I had asked for.

Had a special event so booked here through Wahanda to see what they could do a few months back.
The lady did my hair well. She listened to what I wanted and made it happen.
However I was out of London on the day of the wedding so didn’t use them, I would have definitely have gone back. I will in future use them as they are local
The place is different in that it has some pets running around, a dog, if your not an animal lover, think twice, I’m not so much a dog lover, but to be honest, it didn’t really bother me. Am definitely going back.
Did a great job to guide my styling and make me look great! Nice people and place to have a treat.

I booked an appointment for 11am on Sunday, choosing this hairdresser in part because I would be seen at a convenient time for me this week. Soon after, I got a notification from Wahanda that my appointment had been rescheduled to 2:30pm later that day. If I had not seen my email at that moment, I would not have known that my appointment was going to be 3 and a half hours later than I booked. Luckily, my schedule that day was free, so it was not a big deal. Then the next day, I got an appointment reminder from the salon that my appointment was 2:45. Again, it was workable with my schedule, but at no point did anyone from Wahanda or the salon call me to check that this time change was ok.
The time issue was confusing and I wasn't even really sure what time my appointment was supposed to be, so I arrived at 2:30. When I checked in, saying I had a 2:30 appointment, the owner emphatically corrected me, "2:45." I am not sure whose fault this scheduling problem was, the salon's or Wahanda's, but I found it very inconsiderate. What if I needed to get my hair done that day? Would I have gotten a refund after my appointment was changed? I had booked and paid for the appointment, so the salon should not be able to change it without checking with me.
Booking difficulties aside, the treatment I got from Jelena, the stylist, was very good. after a few botched self-dye jobs, my hair was in three colours. Jelena took the time to take my skin and eye colouring and my natural hair colour to pick the perfect tones for a half head of highlights. She explained everything as she was doing it, which made me feel more relaxed about the process, which was quite a big change. She did a great job manipulating two strengths of bleach to even out my hair colour. You would never know now that the colour was such a mess before. She was polite, friendly, and a little chatty without being too gabby Jelena on her own would get 5 stars, but the other staff service I got at the salon was iffy, as mentioned before. The salon did have a nice selection of dyes, though (I paged through their book).
The cut, a blunt long bob, turned out really nice. She put extra effort into making sure it was precisely even all around. The blow out was beautiful too - it lasted a whole day, which is really saying something considering my curly hair.
The only concern I had around the cut was that she didn't ask me about my curly hair or verbally address it in any way. It turned out ok curly because it is short hair in one layer and maybe she planned it that way, but I was really nervous about it. I would have felt better if she had asked me more about how I style it normally. The blow out was beautiful, but I just can't realistically do that myself every day. It should be said though that she finished in precisely 2 hours 30 minutes, so maybe she was short on time, considering my hair colour needed so much attention.
In summary, I would give Jelena (the stylist) 4.5 and the salon a 3.
