The therapist was late and she gave a very quick treatment, not minding about details. I had better treatments. I don't know if I'm choosing for next time.
Ladies' Waxing
I was booked in for lunch time and arrived 20mins late due to traffic the staff was understanding and didn't moan- I had a half head of high lights wash cut and blow and it was lovely and relaxing done by Demi. Then had a full leg wax by karina both girls was polite and nice to talk to. All the staff was talkative and welcoming. It's a well run salon and I will use and recommend them.
I had my hair done here today the staff was very friendly and welcoming, on arrival I was offered a drink. Whilst having my hair done I felt very relaxed and the staff Engaged me in conversation. I normally find hair salons bitchy and stuck up but all the staff at hair and the city was lovely. I also had my eye brows waxed and they was done perfectly. I high recommend them I've booked my 5 year old daughter in for next week. And the dogs are friendly and they don't bother you when your in the salon. Thank you to Demi and karina for my lovely treatments
The deal of haircut for £21.50 was very good value, and my stylist gave me exactly what I asked for, which considering I had my baby with me was no mean feat! It could have been a bit more imaginative and I might have been offered something with a bit more wow, but I was not in the mood for experimenting with what I was asking for given I had limited time before the baby would be bored. The girls were very sweet towards him, looking after him while I had my hair washed etc. He was as welcome in there as the two resident dogs, which was nice - some places make you feel like you should have left the baby behind... If a similar deal came up I would definitely go back.

I didn't actually manage to get my hair done! Was booked in for half head highlights and cut and blow dry. Called the salon before to check they did the Balayage technique rather than the foils, receptionist said yes. Booked the appointment, arrived and the hairdresser said she was very sorry but had never done the technique before in her life!
A complete waste of my time. Not the hairdressers fault, but definitely the salons fault.
When I walked in to the salon there were two dogs under the reception desk. The whole salon smelt badly of dog. It was rather a relief to get back out into the fresh air again! Not the smell you are expecting when you walk into a salon!
