I had a nice experience with my pedicure, service was very good. Only issue was threy changed timing of my appointment on the day.
First off I was phoned just as I was making my way to the salon to tell me they were double booked and could I move to a later time. This was not possible for me so it was arranged for me to come 45 minutes earlier. I arrived to a locked door but soon enough a person opened up for me and offered me a drink, so far so good. Shortly after what I presumed was the proprietress arrived all friendly and concerned. Unfortunately she left after about 10 minutes, not to return by the time I left an hour fifteen minutes later. I over heard the the massuese who was trying to do the treatments and man the phones that the proprietor was out to lunch. This was a Saturday and one would think one of the busiest times of the week for the salon! Anyway I was shown to the chair for my luxury pedicure. This person who I discovered along the way was not to my mind able to do the pedicure as she told me she was the massuese After about 10 minutes of clumsy treatment another beautician entered the room from one of the treatment rooms to say shed finished whatever she was doing and took over from the massuese to complete my treatment. She assured me that unlike the other one she was fully qualified and proceeded to give me a good pedicure. Albeit not with the hot wax as was in the brochure. In the meantime these two women had to interrupt their duties to man the phone and welcome the new clients....two of which after waiting for 1/2 hour left because they could see that my pedicure was far from being done....although I was happy enough with the end result I felt very embarrassed by the antagonism between the two staff members which just comes down to a lack of proper management. The onus for the shambolic situation lies entirly on management
Lovely massage, though staff could be more welcoming.
I love this place - always have appointments at short notice, and very reasonably priced.
I waited over 20 minutes in reception and was not greeted by anyone, another client was also waiting and had the same appointment time as me. The other client then called reception to be told someone would be there in a few minutes. I had told the lady on the phone when I made my appointment that i needed to be seen at 6.30 and would not have been seen till after 7. Not impressed with the service at all
