I can to Reeds last week for a cut and colour. Danielle my stylist was really lovely and we talked through what I wanted and I showed a picture of the colour that I wanted. I asked if it would be possible and was assured that it would. The photo was of brown hair with some ash blonde going through it. At the end of the appointment when my hair was being styled I was a bit taken aback by the colour and how blonde it was as this was not something we had discussed but it was styled lovely and I left happy enough.
The next day once I saw my hair in daylight I realised how brassy it was. Although I thought it was slightly yellow at first, I thought it was just because I wasn’t used to seeing my hair so fair. But it’s a vey brassy yellowy orange. And after I’d washed it and had my hair straight I noticed that I have large obvious streaks running through my hair.
I understand that sometimes with dye it can be unpredictable and people can make mistakes. This is why I emailed Reeds to let them know and ask if anything can be done to at least tone down the brassiness. I haven’t heard anything back which is really disappointing.
Would never leave a bad review but am upset that they wouldn’t offer to fix what looks like a bad box dye.
